Koh Kood Catamaran: the safe ferry to Koh Kood and Koh Mak
The Koh Kood Catamaran by Siriwhite (Boonsiri) is a fast ferry that runs all year round between the Laem Sok pier in Trat province and the tropical islands of Koh Mak and Koh Kood. Because we do not stop at any of the resorts' private piers, the roughly 55 km crossing to Koh Kood via Koh Mak can take as little as 90 minutes, at an average cruising speed of 25 knots.
Our catamaran has an all aluminium bow, which reduces weight and fuel consumption and lets it travel faster than most other vessels. The main (lower) deck has 150 seats and the upper deck another 36. Both decks are fully air-conditioned, and there are more open-air seats on the top deck.
All year transfers to Koh Kood
A catamaran is very stable and ours has two powerful engines, so we can carry passengers to Koh Kood and Koh Mak the entire year. Even when the speedboats can no longer make the crossing because of higher waves and rain showers at sea, our ferry keeps running. With the Koh Kood Catamaran you arrive fresh and dry, whatever the weather is like.
From Bangkok to Koh Mak and Koh Kood
We offer all-in-one transport from Bangkok city and Pattaya to the islands. Comfortable coaches and (mostly) luxury vans take you from the pick-up point in front of the Street Hostel near Khao San road straight to our office near the Laem Sok pier, in time for the catamaran. They leave Bangkok twice a day in the high season and once a day in the low season. Please check in 30 minutes before departure, and book (mini)bus transfers at least 48 hours before the travel date.

Included in all fares
- One-way boat fare for one passenger. Children under 3 travel free if kept on a parent's lap.
- Free shuttle to or from most resorts on Koh Kood. If our cars on the island cannot reach your resort, they arrange a pick-up with the resort from a meeting point nearby.
- We are no longer allowed to collect people from Trat city or the bus station. For (private) transfers from Trat Airport, please use the Trat airport private transfers service.
- Free luggage up to 30 kg. Excess weight is charged at 20 baht/kg, maximum weight 50 kg.

- Bangkok: shared van or luxury coach from the "Street Hostel" meeting point near Khao San road in Bangkok to our office in Laem Ngop near Trat.
- Pattaya: shared van from most hotels in Pattaya city to our meeting point in Trat, from where our free shuttle takes you to our office in Laem Sok. 48 hours advance booking required.

Lad Krabang Airport Link drop-off
Until 2017 we offered a route between Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Koh Mak and Koh Kood. Unfortunately our time tables can no longer be matched with those of the Suvarnabhumi Burapha Airport Bus company, so this connection via Trat is no longer possible. Our apologies for the inconvenience!
For trips from Koh Kood or Koh Mak to Suvarnabhumi airport, you can still be dropped off at the Airport Link station in Lad Krabang. From there it is less than 15 minutes to the airport, by train or taxi.
